Purpose - Production of a design manual and Windows-based design program to assist engineers to design simplified sewerage systems in developing countries
Outputs - Design manual and Windows-based design program.

Methodology
|
|
The design manual and the Windows-based design program were written and these form the Output of the project.
Drafts of the manual and design program were assessed during field visits to Brazil and Kenya. During the Kenya visit a two-day workshop was held at UNCHS, Nairobi; this was attended by six local engineers who extensively tested the design program. Following this, the manual and design program were finalised.
